Beginning Monday, April 16, Triangle Transit’s Durham-Raleigh Express (DRX) will stop on Trent Drive at Duke South.
The new stop will be added to the AM and PM routes, and the express bus will now stay on Trent Drive (crossing Erwin Road) before turning onto Flowers Drive. The change has no effect on the schedule or other stops served.
Brian Williams, Duke’s transportation demand management coordinator, said the added stops make it easier for Duke community members, especially staff and faculty working in or near Duke Clinics, to use an alternative commute.
“Commuting between Durham and Raleigh just got more convenient,” Williams said. “This stop is a big help for any Raleigh resident looking for a way to save on fuel and parking.”
