Employee holiday tree lighting

On Dec. 1, the holiday tree in Duke Raleigh Hospital Gardens was lit at the first annual Employee Holiday Tree Lighting. The event was co-sponsored by the Diversity Leadership Team and the Rewards and Recognition Team.

Doug Vinsel, CEO of Duke Raleigh Hospital, welcomed everyone to the event and Rev. Adrian L. Dixon shared words of celebration. Powell G. Fox, Jr., M.D., lit the tree, which is illuminated by 240 lights.

The Duke Raleigh Chorus performed The Dreidel Song, Carol of the Bells, Pasko (Tagalog), Silent Night (Vietnamese), Jesus, Oh What a Wonderful Child and Feliz Navidad (Spanish).
