Durham Regional’s United Way under way

Durham Regional Hospital kicked off its 2008 Triangle United Campaign on Oct. 17 with a community agency fair and plans several other events in the days ahead.

They include: a silent auction, Thursday, Oct. 23, noon-4 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 24, 8-11 a.m. in first level classroom. To donate items, contact Claudette Meeks at 470-4150 or Linda Sellers at 470-6165.

Also, an “In the Spotlight” talent showcase will be held in the cafeteria, Friday, Oct. 31, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. To share your talent, contact Carolyn Clay at 470-6143.

The campaign continues through Nov. 15. To contribute, contact James Amos, marketing/community program coordinator, at 470-4278 or james.amos@duke.edu.
