Deadline now Dec. 15 for poetry competition
posted December 4th, 2008Have you thought of writing a poem, or do you have a poem about your experience as a health care provider, your own personal journey with illness, or about being with someone else who was ill?
You can submit a poem in the ninth “Write Us A Poem” Contest, sponsored by Health Arts Network at Duke (HAND).
The deadline to submit a poem has been extended to Dec. 15.
All entrants will receive a free collection of the poems to be published in 2009. The anthologies will be made available in waiting rooms and in the hospital units for future patients and their families to read.
