posted January 21st, 2010
Duke Raleigh Hospital celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through a memoral service and a day of service.
The memorial service featured a reading of Dr. King's biography, which was written after he was honored with the Nobel Peace Prize. Attendees were given the opportunity to reflect on his life and how his work impacted them personally.
In addition, hospital employees and their family members participated in a land beautification project at the Brentwood Boys and Girls Club.
