7 Duke nurses pass AAACN exam
posted September 30th, 2008Seven Duke Medicine nurses have passed the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) exam.
They are:
- Lynette Teague, RN, BC, nurse manager, Duke Family Medicine at Pickens.
- Krista Wilson, RN-BC, health center administrator, Duke OB/GYN Consultants of Raleigh, Duke Perinatal Consultants of Greensboro, Duke Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Diana Jones, RN-BC, ADN, health center administrator, Private Diagnostic Clinic, Duke Children’s Consultative Services Raleigh and Duke Children’s Cardiology Fayetteville.
- Linda Dorman, RN-BC, nurse manager 2F/2G and Infusion Center, manager of the PDC Cardinal Drug program.
- Sherry Peel, RN-BC, BSN, health center administrator, Duke Primary Care Pickett Road, Duke Children’s Primary Care Pickett Road.
- Jan Fortman, BA, RN-BC, ACNII, Duke Aesthetic Center, staff nurse.
- Diane Braswell, RN-BC, nurse manager, Duke Sports Medicine Clinic.
AAACN is the association of professional nurses and associates who identify ambulatory care practice as essential to the continuum of high quality, cost-effective health care.
