Sarcoma Center celebrates first awareness week
July 18th, 2009The Duke Multi-Disciplinary Sarcoma Center is celebrating its first "International Sarcoma Awarenessx Week" from July 18-26.
A 5K run-walk kicks off the week. The event will be held at the Al Buehler Duke Golf Trail on July 18. Registration starts at 7:45 a.m, followed by remarks. The Kiddies' Fun Run starts at 8:45 a.m., then the 5K run-walk at 9 a.m. Donations (the suggested sum is $15) raised are used to support sarcoma research at Duke.
