The course iis an interactive learning program designed to equip junior faculty in the basic and clinical sciences with the knowledge and professional competencies to effectively lead dynamic scientific research enterprises. Developed at the request of Dean Nancy Andrews and Vice Dean Sally Kornbluth, the course will provide insight into leadership and team building as well as direction on how to develop and manage a scientific laboratory or research program, how to improve productivity, and how to harness creativity and innovation. It will provide tools to use in navigating conflict with confidence.
