Regional Café extends hours

If you are one of the “night owls” of Durham Regional Hospital, you have probably met Judith Long and Jason Segars, who operate the Regional Café during night shift.

Food & Nutrition recently expanded hours, and the Regional Café is now open Sunday through Thursday nights from 12 am to 4 am.

“Jason and Judith are wonderful, and we are so happy to have food overnight without having to bring our own or leave the building,” says Peggy Wilson-Stephens, house supervisor for night shift. “The cafeteria is also a great place enjoy our meal with co-workers.”

The dynamic duo says they “love serving the ‘DRH night-time family.’”

What’s Cookin’?
Every night: pizzas, salad bar, desserts and sandwiches.
The grill rotates between breakfast and lunch items.
Breakfast menu includes: special ordered omelets and pancakes with all the toppings, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage.
Lunch menu includes: grilled chicken, turkey burgers, chicken wings, burgers, hotdogs and grilled cheese.
