DRH celebrates Nurses Day
posted May 4th, 2010Durham Regional Hospital will celebrate Nurses Day with a ice cream and a Blessing of the Hands of ceremony.
Thursday, May 6
Nurses Day Celebration, First Level Classroom, 1-3 p.m.
Ice cream novelties will be provided along with a Blessing of the Hands ceremony and a special presentation of Health System Certification.
Managers will pick up nursing gifts, and there will be a gift raffle. Items include a Tiffany bracelet provided by Interim on Premise, TNAC party (19 tickets valued at $35 each), and two $500 education stipends. Ice cream novelties will be taken to each unit for night and weekend shifts.
