DRAH welcomes Dana Frentz

Dana Frentz recently joined Duke Raleigh Hospital as the new director of security. She has over 22 years of experience in security and law enforcement and has served in the hospital setting as a floor officer, investigator and security manager.

Dana recently served as the manager of Protective Services at Clarian North Medical Center in Indiana. She is a graduate of Indiana University and holds the distintion of CHPA from the International Association of Healthcare Scurity and Safety.

“I am excited to come into a well-oiled department, and to be given the opportunity to continue to take it to the next level in the areas of education and training,” said Dana. “Work culture is extremely important to me, and I am looking forward to being a part of an organization that is friendly and supportive of its employees.”

In her spare time, Dana enjoys visiting the beach. She is looking forward to being only two hours away from it, now that she is in North Carolina.
