Auction fights asthma
posted September 19th, 2008Duke Hospital will host a silent auction to benefit the Asthma Walk and the American Lung Association from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sept. 23 in the Medical Center Boardroom.
The seventh-annual walk will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, on the Centennial Campus of N.C. State University in Raleigh.

The auction may include donated items such as small household appliances, electronics or small furnishings, decorative items, art work, crafts, jewelry, sports equipment, tickets for movies, plays or other artistic performances or sporting events, certificates for personal services, and wrapped theme gift baskets.
